The team at the Therapy Directory asked me to contribute to their student blog and talk about my experiences of changing careers.
After I had decided to take an acupuncture course it took me several years to get in a position to afford to study and support myself, and although taking on a degree-level course while working full time was often exhausting it was completely worth it.
Every time a patient tells me that they feel better, that their pain has reduced or that they can experience life without anxiety I feel blessed to continue the tradition of this incredible medicine.
